I've had multiple opportunities to work with the governor's office in my time with the state. This gallery features a few of the more widely distributed projects. The first is the Governor's "Invite to Virginia" booklet which he has distributed in San Francisco, Boston, London, and soon, Israel.
The second, is the Governor's Economic Plan, "The New Virginia Economy". This is something I worked on for him a few months after his inauguration in 2014. It was released to state officials and the press in early December of that year.
I was also given the opportunity to create Virginia's new "Welcome to Virginia" sign. The project was put on my desk as a rush job for a "quick and rough mock-up" to show some people from the Department of Transportation. I was literally given about 10 minutes to work on the design. About 2 hours later, I got an email saying "Congratulations! You just made the new Welcome to Virginia sign!" Oh boy.
In all honestly, the sign isn't something I go around bragging about. I don't consider it my best work. I'm showing the sign here as a fun little bit of trivia, not necessarily a showcase of my ability to design highway signs.
A collection of some of my favorite logo designs from the past.

A simple logo and brochure design for a wedding and event space in Orange, Virginia.
I've been playing paintball competitively longer than I've been driving. I was the president and co-captain of VCU's collegiate team, played in the National X-ball League (Paintball's largest national league) and in the World Cup of Paintball hosted in Orlando, Florida. I can even credit paintball with getting me into most of my creative hobbies. I started to learn Photoshop and photography as a way to make cool pictures of my paintball buddies.
In that time, I've helped out local paintball stores and teams with lots of creative work. From team logos and jerseys, to stickers and flyers, paintball has always provided me with opportunities to make some cool things.
